  4. GAANN Fellowship Program • Is the GAANN Program the right fit for your institution? Key components of the program: 1) Eligible students must demonstrate financial need. 2) One- year supervisory teaching requirement. 3) Evaluation

GAANN Fellowships Program What’s New: • Institutions can only make fellowship awards to individuals who plan to pursue the highest possible graduate degree available in their course of study at the institution. • New grantees are now required to submit an additional final performance report to provide data on the academic and employment status for all fellows--two years after the grant has expired. • Applications must be submitted electronically using e-Application. • The page limit for Interdisciplinaryapplicationsis now 40 pages maximum.

  6. GAANN Fellowship Program Tentative FY 2010 Competition Dates: • Notice inviting applications –November • Closing Date – December • Competition –January /February • Awards Made – Early June • Approximately 52 new awards will be made.
