  1. Steve Greeley President sgreeley@dcaboston.com 508-875-0663 John Williams Senior Consultant jwilliams@dcaboston.com 818-486-4569 • DCA assists collaborative efforts to achieve large-scale social progress, focusing on education, workforce development and health, including: • Local and national initiatives to strengthen early childhood education and school readiness • Regional initiatives to strengthen lifelong learning and post-secondary attainment • Local, national and global public health efforts related to tobacco, substance abuse, disease elimination, and HIV/AIDS

  2. CPA Technical Assistance • Areas of TA to be agreed upon in CPA charters, in response to communities’ needs (informed by conversations between CPA initiative leaders and DCA). • Lumina has assembled Metro Partners to provide assistance. Resources are extensive, but not unlimited; need to be planned carefully. • Communities share interests and needs. Some have strong approaches to support post-secondary attainment. So we’ll convene communities to learn with, and from, one another and problem solve together. • There will be site-specific assistance to meet complex challenges that require in-depth help.

  3. TA Planning Process C = Community C • Lumina Support Team: • DCA • Lumina staff • OMG • Jill Wohlford, Metro Partner Coordinator • Metro Partners C DCA C C DCA works with Support Team to create TA plans, which will be refined and finalized with community input As each cohort comes on board, DCA talks with communities to assess needs Areas of TA outlined in community/Lumina Charters DCA checks in with communities (quarterly during first year) to monitor TA implementation and identify/address additional needs.
