  1. Marco Polo I ain’t no swimming pool game!!! I’m an explorer!!! By AJ Eraca

  2. The Beginning • I was born in Venice, Italy on September 15th 1254 • I was an Italian Explorer • I mostly explored the western part of Asia (mostly China) • I explored with my father and uncle

  3. The Journey Kicks Off… When I was 17, my father and uncle and I went off on a journey of a lifetime. We traveled more then 24,000 miles in twenty four years. I traveled the middle east and to Mongolia. I became entrusted by the emperor of Mongolia who's name was Khubilai khan. I was given a passport by khubilai khan that was not made of silver and iron, mine was made of solid gold. In china I discovered paper money, silk, iron and salt industries. I also brought back spaghetti and stuff called gun powder.

  4. Back in Venice Italy I returned to my home town in 1295, with my father and uncle. We were robbed of most of our riches on our journey home. A war broke out between Venice and Genoa and I was put in jail. When I was in jail I told a cellmate of my travels to china. He was an author who wrote the book of my travels to china named “a description of the world” a lot of people did not believe my story, but a lot of them did. Christopher Columbus had a copy of my book. I died at the age of 70 in 1324.

  5. This is my friend Khubilai khan he ruled Mongolia he was born in 1214 and died in 1294
