  2. OUR AIMS With this project, our main goal is to share the movieswith experiments we made, with students from other cultures, to cooperate with them and to encourage them to become partners with our films. At the same time, we want to include in culture transfer, know other cultures and contribute to language development.

  3. While preparing for the lessons or repeating what they have learned, the students have great difficulty if they have inadequate vocabulary knowledge or when the situation to be explained is not clear. As a result, they cannot comprehend aforesaid subject. When they do not comprehend, hence, they do not want to do any preliminary work for the lesson. However, if there are films that provide opportunities to present and explain the events when they encounter such a situation, they can get ready more easily.

  4. Because films; • ease students’ comprehension as films provide students opportunities to see the explained information at the same time • increase students’ motivations –motivating individuals psychologically— • have positive effects on “keeping in mind”

  5. Collection of photos and/or videos for a webpage and/or Power Point Presentation with short captions in L1 and English showing experiments in physics and/or science to help pupils to improve their interest in and knowledge of science subjects

  6. SUBJECTS • Biology • Chemistry • Physics • Drama • Natural Sciences • Primary School Subjects, • Foreign Languages • Environmental Education • informatics/ICT

  7. LANGUAGES Common Language ENGLISH Mother Language Turkish Romanian Italian Spanish

The presentations of schools, the products created by students, the movies with experiments, the articles with details about these, will be published on own web magazine created for this project. to improve the understanding and learning of Science to improve the use of ITC to improve crosscurricular co-operation It will get a space with valuable educational content.

  12. WORK PROCESS 1/1 presentation of town / region / country presentation of school / class(es) Students will format working groups in each class of three or four members. Each working group will select two or three experiments. Each group develops the experiments selected. Students will take photos and videos that will accompany the explanations of experiments. Students prepare files (text/photo/video) with the proper software.

  13. WORK PROCESS 1/2 The students serve as journalists, will edit articles with the conducted experiments on the project web magazine. 15. Expected results 1/1 This project will contribute students to understand different cultures and be aware of them along with providing benefits to students for their language and science education.

  16. Expected results 1/2 Students will better understand the physical and chemical phenomena in experiments; they will use Twinspace to collaborate and communicate with colleagues working group and project partners in the participating countries.

  17. Expected results 1/3 They will improve their ICT skills, will learn to use Web 2.0 technologies; will develop writing and reading skills in English.
