Jer 17:4 And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burnforever. Few Sabbath Observers have looked into THE SCRIPTURES to see if the ‘Friday sunset to Saturday sunset is The True Scriptural Sabbath, The Seventh Day of the week!But When does The True Weekly Sabbath start?Does it really start 'at sundown Friday', and end 'at sundown Saturday'?Where do THE SCRIPTURES say that?

Gen 1:14 Andיהוהsaid, “Let lights come to be in theexpanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and appointed times, and for days and years, Gen 1:15 and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth.” And it came to be so.Gen 1:16 Andיהוהmade two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night, and the stars. Gen 1:17 Andיהוהset them in the expanse of the heavens togive light on the earth, Gen 1:18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And יהוה saw that it was good. Here were we see the Day is the Light, separated, divided from the night, that is the Darkness. The True, Scriptural, Weekly Sabbath is Not 'from sunset to sunset' as most all 'Sabbath' keeping 'churches', 'assemblies', and 'congregations' Wrongly teach and keep!Gen 1:3 Andיהוהsaid, “Let light come to be,” and light came to be. Gen 1:4 Andיהוהsaw the light, that it was good. And Alahym separatedthe light from the darkness.Gen 1:5 Andיהוהcalled the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the first day.

The period of light between dawn and nightfall; the interval from sunrise to sunset.Night: The period between sunset and sunrise, especially the hours of darkness. MORNING (BOKER)= Sunbreaking the horizon, sunrise. DAY (YOM) = The Period of light, daylight hours EVENING (EREK) = Mixing of the Light, Sunset NIGHT (LAYELAH)= Darkness after sunset. MOCHORATHAM= The Morrow, Tomorrow SCHACHAR = Dawn, Break of day

  5. Exo 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart. Exo 20:9 “Six days you labour, and shall do all your work, Exo 20:10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath of יהוה your Power. You do not do any work you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. Exo 20:11 “For in six daysיהוה made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore יהוהblessed the Sabbath day and set it apart.Exo 31:12 And יהוהspoke to Mosheh, saying, Exo 31:13 “And you, speak to the children of Yisra’al, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I,יהוה, am setting you apart. Exo 31:14 ‘And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people. Exo 31:15 ‘Six days work is done, and on the seventh is a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to יהוה. Everyone doing work on the Sabbath day shall certainly be put to death. Exo 31:16 ‘And the children of Yisra’al shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant.

  6. Genesis 1:3-5 Said, 'Let there be Light'; and there was Light. YAH saw The Light, that it was Beneficial and יהוה Divided (Separated) between The Light and between the darkness. And יהוה Called The Light 'Day', and the darkness He Called 'night'. And the evening was (came to be) and (then) the morning was (came to be). Day One (First Day)" יהוה Saw (Observed, Considered) only The Light, that He made, that it was beneficial (Genesis 1:3-4). However, He said no word about the darkness! Since יהוה is Light, The Father of Light, Dwelling in The Light, and in Him there is No darkness.1Jn 1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that יהוה is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and are not doing the truth. 1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of יהושע Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning.1Tim 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or is able to see, to whom be respect and everlasting might

  7. Rev 21:22 And I saw no Dwelling Place in it, forיהוהĚl Shaddai is its Dwelling Place, and the Lamb. Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it, for the esteem of יהוה lightened it, and the Lamb is its lamp. Rev 21:24 And the gentiles, of those who are saved, shall walk in its light, and the sovereigns of the earth bring their esteem into it. Rev 21:25 And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night shall not be there.Rev 22:5 And night shall be no more, and they shall have no need of a lamp or the light of the sun, because יהוה Almighty shall give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array. Gen 2:2 And on the seventh dayיהוה completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. Gen 2:3 And יהוה blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which יהוה in creating had made.Joh 9:4 “It is necessary for Me to work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day night is coming, when no one is able to work.Joh 9:5 “While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

The True, Scriptural, Weekly Sabbath is Not 'from sunset to sunset' (Nor 'from evening to evening', Nor 'from dark to dark'), as most all 'Sabbath' keeping 'churches', 'assemblies', and 'congregations' Wrongly teach and keep! The Creator YAH, Said that His Sabbath is The Seventh Day and HE Said that the Day is the Light, Separated, Divided (and Not united, joined together!) from the night, that is the darkness, by the Sun Ruling / Governing the Day / Light (and Not the night / darkness), and by the Moon (and also the Stars) Ruling / Governing the night / darkness (and Not the Day / Light). The Sabbath is The Seventh Light Time Period, or Day Time, Ruled / Governed by The Sun, that Runs From Morning (Dawn to Sunrise) To Evening (Sunset / Sundown to Dark)! YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH, Said that the Day has 12 Hours of Light, and Not 24 Hours of Light and Darkness. Joh 11:9יהושע answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. Joh 11:10 “But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.The Day = The Light, and The Righteousness.The Night = The Darkness, and The Evil.

  9. Mat 20:1 “For the reign of the heavens is like a man, a householder who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. Mat 20:2 “And when he had agreed with the workers for a silver piece a day, he sent them into his vineyard. Mat 20:3 “And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the market-place, Mat 20:4 and said to them, ‘You too go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I shall give you.’ And they went. Mat 20:5 “Having gone out again about the sixth and the ninth hour, he did likewise. Mat 20:6 “And about the eleventh hour, having gone out, he found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’ Mat 20:7 “They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You too go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you shall receive.’ Mat 20:8 “And when evening came, the master of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’ Mat 20:9 “And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a silver piece. Mat 20:10 “And when the first came, they thought they would receive more. But they too received each a silver piece. Mat 20:11 “And when they received it, they grumbled against the householder, Mat 20:12 saying, ‘These last have worked onlyone hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’

Mat 12:40 “For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so shall the Son of Aḏam be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.Exo 16:22 And it came to be, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Mosheh. Exo 16:23 And he said to them, “This is what יהוה has said, ‘Tomorrow is a rest, a Sabbath set-apart to יהוה. That which you bake, bake; and that which you cook, cook. And lay up for yourselves all that is left over, to keep it until morning.’ ” Exo 16:25 And Mosheh said, “Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to יהוה, today you do not find it in the field. Exo 16:26 “Gather it six days, but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, there is none.” Exo 16:27 And it came to be that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none.

  11. Clearly, The True Sabbath, The Seventh Day, is The Seventh Period of Light, Between Morning (From Dawn to Sunrise.Judges 19:9And the man arose to go, he and his concubine and his servant. But his father-in-law, the young woman’s father, said to him, “See, the day is now drawing towardevening. Please spend the night. See, the day is coming to an end. Stay here, and let your heart be glad. And you shall rise early tomorrow for your journey, and you shall go to your tent.”Exo 18:13 And it came to be, on the next day, that Mosheh sat to rightly rule the people. And the people stood before Mosheh from morning until evening.Luk 24:29But they urged Him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening, and the day has declined.” And He went in to stay with them.Mat 28:1 Now after the Sabbath, toward dawn on the first day of the week, Miryam from Maḡdala and the other Miryam came to see the tomb.Luk 24:1And on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.

Neh 13:15 In those days I saw in Yahudah those treading wine presses on the Sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and  loading  donkeys with wine, grapes, and figs, and all kinds of burdens, which they brought into Yahrushalayim on the Sabbath day. So I warned them on the day they sold food.Neh 13:16 And men of Tsor dwelt there, bringing in fish and all kinds of goods, and sold them on the Sabbath to the children of Yahudah, and in Yahrushalaym.Neh 13:17 Then I contended with the nobles of Yahudah, and said to them “What  evil matter is this that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day?Neh 13:18 Did not your fathers do the same so that our Yah brought all this evil on us and on this city? Yet you bring added wrath on Yisra’al by profaning the Sabbath.Neh 13:19 And it came to be, at the gates of Yahrushalayim, as it began to be dark before the Sabbath, that I commanded the gates to be shut, and commanded that they should not be opened till after the Sabbath. And I stationed some of my servants at the gates, so that no burdens would be brought in on the Sabbath day.

  13. How can it be dark “before the Sabbath if the Sabbath occurs during the night as well and is supposed to begin at “evening?” Doesn’t the term “it began to be dark” refer to the evening, at which point the Sabbath allegedly begins? So why do we have it that this was also “before the Sabbath?” This means that Sabbath rightly occurs only during daylight hours, from morning to evening. When it began to be dark, the gates were commanded to be shut, not because Sabbath was about to begin. It would be wise to closing the gates before it became fully dark.Lev 23:5 ‘In  the  first  month,  on  the  fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, is the Passover.Between the evenings is a Hebrew idiom that refers to approx. 3:00 p.m. At 3:00 p.m., is when Yahushua died, fulfilling the role of our Passover lamb — Mattithyahu (Matthew) 27:46-50; Mark 15:34-37; Luke 23:44-46.

  14. The the Passover feast was to be observed all night, as stated in Shemoth (Exodus) chp 12, thus it ran into the first day of Unleavened Bread, making that day a high Sabbath. A regular Sabbath was and is from morning to evening, but a high Sabbath, or mega Sabbath, it was larger than usual. Thus the previous night was attached to it. There are only two high Sabbaths found in the entire Scriptures, and they are the first day of Unleavened Bread and the Day of Atonement.Yochanan (John) 19:31 “Therefore, since it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Sabbath for that Sabbath was a high one.The Day of Atonement was called a Sabbath by Yah himself back in the book of Lev. chp 23. Thus the seventh-day Sabbath was not the only Sabbath observed by the Yisralites. In fact, the high Sabbath referred to in Yochanan 19:31 is in fact the first day of Unleavened Bread, which fell, not on the Saturday. Yahushua was not executed on a Friday, contrary to popular Christian belief, for that would not complete three days and three nights.

  15. Yohan 1:17 Butיהוה appointed a great fish to swallow Yonah. And Yonah was in the stomach of the fish three days and three nightsMatt 12:40 “For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so shall the Son of Adam be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

  16. There can be no doubt YAH gave the Light the name Day and to the Darkness the name Night...Thus the work of the first day, reckoned from morning to evening is accomplished. The period of Light is followed by Evening and Darkness, which comes to an end with the next morning when the second day begins.The traditions of men causes us to err, So begin to observe the Sabbath as you have now learned from the Scriptures and not as tradition dictates.
