  12. Transportation • A bus tag must be attached to your child’s backpack. • Changes in transportation • Permanent (fill out change of transportation form) • Temporary (write a note in the agenda)

Snacks/Birthdays • Please send one SMALL healthy snack with your child daily (no candy or soda please). • If you choose to celebrate your child’s birthday with a special snack, please bring or send it to school that morning. We will enjoy the treat during our snack • time. (No drinks or party • bags/favors allowed)

  16. Make the connection! • Newsletters are sent home every Friday. These will keep you informed about what we are learning in class. • Review letters, letter sounds and writing letters at home. • Provide your child with opportunities to be more independent (getting dressed, packing items for school, setting the dinner table and so forth). • Count with your child. • Visit the local library to borrow books and books on tape/cd. • Visit the Parent Center to borrow materials or to get more information on parent workshops.

  17. Mantengamonos en contacto • Las noticias seran mandadas al hogar todos los viernes. Los mantendra informados de todo lo que los estudiantes aprendieron. • Practique las letras, sonidos y escritura de las letras. • Dele oportunidades a su hijo/ hija de volverse mas independiente (vistiendose solo/sola, empacando utiles para la escuela, sentandose a la mesa, etc) • Practique como contar con sus hijo o hija. • Visite la biblioteca y obtenga libros y libros en cintas/cd.etc • Visite el centro para padres en la escuela para pedir pedir prestado materiales o para enterarse de talleres para ustedes los padres.
