  3. MARKING REFERENCE SYSTEM Large Nacelle A380=======ASL or ATL A318=======ARL BTG0027 The marking technique appears on the PN sheet sent with the definition elements (CAD, PLAN, CATIA file…….) On the A340 500/600 programme APLXXXX-XX-X , the note of the plan bears the MARKING data

  4. MARKING REFERENCE SYSTEM Mature programme A320 A340  200/300 DT 05-89 HS 900100 F° 0044 The marking technique appears in the plan note which bears the information CAUTION The marking technique of the serial number may be different to the reference marking

MARKING REFERENTIAL Mature program A320 A340  200/300 • A320-CFM : • 321-XXX-XXX-X • or • ALLXXX-XXX-X(no dash after the “ L”) • A340-CFM : • AFLXXX-XXX-X (no dash after the “ L”) • Example of marking that generates issues : • AFL-109-453-6 • 3214727006 • ALL-458-901-0 IMPORTANT : SUFFIXES AT THE END OF REFERENCES ARE FORBIDDEN

  6. MARKING Article order in -7,-8 Marking in -6 or -0 on the article depending on the definition technique Label marking (M31) of the ordered example The definition markings -6 & -0 must appear on the article which can be delivered to the end client.

  7. MARKING Position of the marking When this symbol comprises dotted lines (short breaks) the marking of the article must be done on the side opposite the view of the plan Marking side

  8. MARKING Position of the marking When the marking position symbol is an FULL LINE, the marking of the article must be apposed on the side identified on the plan. Full line symbol Marking on this side

  9. MARKING What you must not do Marking in RED is PROHIBITED It is applicable ONLY for SCRAPPED articles or PIV

  10. MARKING What you must not do The space between the points is not adhered to In this case there is a weakening of the marking zone. A Dispensation request must be sent to AIRCELLE.

  11. MARKING What you must not do RED varnish, like red paint, is PROHIBITED In this case there are TWO cases of non-compliance: 1- COLOUR of the varnish 2- Validation of the ingredient Indeed, an ingredient is a product which must be validated by AIRCELLE

  12. MARKING Compliant with BTG0027 M27 marking ink + varnish The varnish has been validated by AIRCELLE

  13. MARKING Compliant with BTG0027 Comply with spaces Comply with hyphens and lack of spaces between hyphens Comply with the transfer of the traceability number

MARKING CONCLUSIONS The articles, sometimes of high technical level, manufactured by our suppliers are articles which represent hours of work: 1- contract review 2- assembly procedures 3- manufacture of the tools 4- manufacture 5- ………… All this effortwasted because of a marking error or a deviation in the delivery documentation.
