Our Mission: To be globally recognized as the lead project management company specializing in facilitating and implementing Direct-to-Consumer software solutions for the wine industry. Wood Winery Business Needs: • Redesign of the Wood Winery website at: www.WoodWinery.com • New site will support the new Direct-To-Consumer sales program with an online store and customer data base for tracking sales. • New website will utilize a hosted software solution to manage the site content and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database for the winery.

  5. Project Description ‘New Vintage’ is a project management company that specializes in facilitating and implementing software solutions for the wine industry. It has been contracted to create a retail website for an established winery client i.e. ‘Wood Winery’. The desired final product will comprise a wine retail website which is launched by 01 May 2013. New Vintage responsibilities include the provision of project management services and the use of their established relationships with two subcontractors (a graphic design company and web hosting provider) to deliver the requested wine retail website. Payment by Wood Winery to New Vintage will comprise two lump sums: • Initial down payment by 26 February 201330% of total payment as per contract • Final payment by 29 April 201370% of total payment as per contract Payment by New Vintage to the graphic design company and web hosting provider will comprise two lump sums: • Initial down payment by 26 February 201330% of total payment as per contract • Final payment by 29 April 201370% of total payment as per contract

Assumptions Winery • Wood Winery company branding (e.g. company logo) is already in place. • Wood Winery already owns domain name. • Wood Winery possesses all relevant permits. • Wood Winery has all necessary distribution. • Wood Winery is has already procured all necessary hardware. Designer • Graphic design firm has already been selected. • Graphic design firm is available and adequately staffed for full duration of contract. • Graphic design firm has all insurance requirements in place. Web Hosting Provider • Web Hosting Provider has already been selected. • Web Hosting Provider is available and adequately staffed for full duration of contract. • Web Hosting Provider will provide hosted integrated software solution, integrating both front end and back end. • Web Hosting Provider has all insurance requirements in place. • Web Hosting Provider is able to provide all necessary training.

Constraints Time Constraints: • Deadline of 01 May 2013 for website launch. • Project definition completed by 15 February 2013 • Initiation documentation completed by 26 February 2013 • Planning requirements completed by 21 March 2013 • Design Specifications completed by 26 March 2013 • Software Product completed by 5 April 2013 • Installation and Training completed by 19 April 2013 • Project Closure by Monday, 29 April 2013* Cost Constraints: • Project must meet predefined budget limits as per contractual obligations. Other Constraints: • All other deliverables completed as per contractual agreement (to be specified during the planning process). *Project ends 4/29/2013 allowing for 2 days flat/slack.
