  3. QAA Code of Practice: Section 9: Placement Learning Evaluation • UQC - evaluation placement learning • planning for implementation REP • good practice in evaluating & monitoring placements for discrimination • UQC, Placement learning Group • to take forward code of practice evaluation work

Audit of placement learning practices • Questionnaire based on QAA Precepts • Audit of placement learning practices • Placement learning documentation identified & provided • how race equality issues addresses for each precept • PLG reviewed documentation • Evaluation completed June 2003 • Away day to report on & collate findings

  8. UQC PL guidelines • Findings & draft guidelines prepared for presentation at UQC, Dec 2003 • Executive summary produced, UQC for consultation 2004 • Guidelines & amendments to UQC, Nov 2004 • PL guidelines of standard minimum requirements approved by UQC, Jan 2005

  9. UQC recommendation • Placement learning group • will serve as a forum for exchange of good practice • representation required from each school • Creation of Placement learning forum
