  2. Diversity/Multicultural Education • Diversity and multicultural education are present in any and every classroom. • I, as well as any teacher, must be prepared to deal with the many different types of students I will encounter throughout my teaching career.

  3. Bilingual Education • Bilingual Education is very important and must be addressed in any school system. • I believe that every school should have some form of ESL class to accommodate the growing number of non-English speaking students.

  4. Reducing Racism • I will educate my students on the value of cultural diversities. • Encourage the children to keep an open mind. • Provide an equal opportunity environment in my classroon.

  5. Overcoming Differences • Teacher/ Student discussions concerning daily life at the start of each day. • An open line of communication between the teacher and parents. • Always be available to the students.
