  1. GRADATION OF EMPLOYEES For the purpose of TA rules employees are graded based on their grade pay as follows 1.Rs.10,000/- and above and those in HAG+ pay scale and above. 2.Rs.7600,8700,and 8900. 3.Rs.5400 and 6600. 4.Rs.4200,4600and 4800. 5.Below Rs.4200.

  3. BASIS FOR DA CALCULATION • For calculation of DA absence from head quarters is to be reckoned as follows.

REGULATION OF DA • For journeys performed on duty to a place exceeding 8 KM from the headquarters. • For local journey the DA is only at half rate. • No DA for holidays and sundays unless the employee is actually and not merely constructively on camp. • No DA for leave and RH availed during tour. • Full DA is admissible for the first 180 days of continuous halt. • Tour ends on return to head quarters

  5. Entitlement for TA on tour is as follows

  6. TA ON TRANSFER • TA on transfer is admissible only if the transfer is in the public interest and not at one’s own request. • Officials transferred after completion of full tenure as prescribed from time to time to the place of their choice will be entitled for TA and transit.

  7. ENTITLEMENT. • Transfer TA consists of following • If the transfer is to a place more than 20 KM and involves change of residence then the official is eligible for grant CTG equivalent to One month Basic pay +Grade pay. • Actual eligible fare for self and family members by eligible mode of conveyance. • Cost of transportation of personal effects from residence to residence. • Cost of transportation of conveyance possessed by the employee.

  8. ENTITLEMENT (Contd) • For a transfer between two stations within a short distance of not more than 20 KM : • No TA if no change of residence is involved. • If change of residence is involved • Full transfer TA will be allowed. • CTG equal to one third of Basic pay and Grade Pay is allowed.

  9. ENTITLEMENT (contd) • On transfer, for the journeys performed by Rail/Road/Air entitlement will be as for journeys on tour.

  10. ENTITLEMENT FOR PERSONAL EFFECTS

  11. TA ON RETIREMENT • Retired employee settles down in a station in a station other than the last station of duty. • ENTITLEMENTS: Same as on transfer including lump sum composite transfer Composite Transfer Grant .

  12. Leave Travel Concession Any employee with one year of continuous service on the date of journey is eligible to avail Concession can be separately availed for self and family members on different occasions Can be availed during any leave including study leave casual leave and spl.cl. but not admissible during child care leave. Once in a four year block- either two home town LTC or one home town + one all India LTC can be availed. Before commencement of journey prior intimation regarding place of visit should be given in writing.

  13. Leave Travel Concession 6. Claim should be preferred within three months 7. Advance up to 90% of eligible amount can be taken- claim should be preferred within one month 8. Home town for the purpose of LTC means home town declared as per service book entries. 9.Concession not availed in a four year block can be carry forward to first year of next block
