  5. Verbiage (calling to book a Group Presentation): Hi ______________, this is ____________ calling. Do you have a quick minute? Great. The reason I am calling is because I started my own business with a company called Arbonne(fact) and I am so excited (feeling). I started this business because I want to help add to our family income and be able to travel more with my friends and family (belief). I am in training this month and I could really use your help. It would mean the world to me if you could gather 5 friends over for a fun night (ask). I will come pamper you all and you will get $175 worth of fantastic products for only $25. I have a weekday or weeknight available. Which one works best for you?

  6. Verbiage (calling to book a Business Appointment): Hi ______________, this is ____________ calling. Do you have a quick minute? Great. The reason I am calling is because I started my own business with a company called Arbonne(fact). I am so excited because my business is really booming right now (feeling)! I know this business is going to allow me to be able to retire my husband so he can spend more time with the kids and I (belief). I wanted to call you because I know you have been looking for an additional stream of income (fact/belief). I know you would be great at this business and I would love working with you. I don’t know if it’s a fit or not but I want us to meet for coffee so you can just take a look (ask). If it’s not a fit, that’s ok, we’ll have fun just getting together!

  7. Smile, Expect to Book, Create Urgency • Belief has a sound • Create excitement – what is in it for them • Don’t be desperate. Act as if “I have people waiting in line to book with me” • Create urgency - “I only have 4 dates left”

  8. People Would Have Events For You If… • They thought it would be fun • They thought it would be easy • They thought their friends would have fun It’s YOUR JOB to address these right when you’re asking them.

  9. Trouble Shooting Are they a busy person? “I understand. That is why you need a break! We all need to take time for ourselves in this stressful world we live in. You and your friends will be so glad you did this! I promise. I’m sure you have a 2 hour time slot open in the next 30 days somewhere! Let’s pencil in a night of pampering that you deserve! Do they think it’s too much work? “I understand. I’ll take care of everything, you just put on a pot of coffee and I’ll even tell you what to tell your friends so they are excited.” Is money tight? “I understand. Let’s get 4-5 people together and I’ll show you how your friends can get a 20-40% discount and how you can get your products at an 80% discount! It’s a great way to get your products for almost nothing! And I can even show you how to make money if you are interested.

  10. When they say yes • Schedule the date immediately • “While I have you on the phone, may I ask you a few more questions?” • What would you like more: • Pampering you & your friends with facials and a spa night? • A tasting event with our delicious nutrition and healthy living line? • Playing with fun makeup techniques and customizing you and your friends color palette? • What product would you like as your FREE gift? • Start thinking of your wish list because I am going to help you get them for 80% off • Close with “Thanks so much, ___________!” I can’t wait for you to ________. You’re going to love it!” Set the next step!

  11. If they say “no” • Say “That’s no problem. I completely understand.” • Ask for the next thing. • Invite them to your own event • One on one or Group Presentation • Demo drop off or sample pack • Referrals

  12. If you get a voice mail? • Leave a message, but don’t give everything away! Leave them curious! • Example: • “Hi Emily, it’s ___________ calling. I have some exciting news for you! Give me a call when you get a minute!!! Can’t wait to talk with you. Bye! • After waiting a day or two, it’s perfectly fine to try to reach them again. Never take it personally if they haven’t called you back right away. Everyone is busy!

  13. Success isn’t magical, it’s mathematical. The more you schedule, the sooner you will hit your goals

  14. Control Your Emotions • You will get rejection – it is normal • Know your numbers: 9 dials = 3 you ask and 1 will say “yes” • May need to talk to 18-24 people to get 6 booked • Call your sponsor when you get frustrated

  15. Stay Plugged In • Coaching Calls are crucial to your success • Participate in Team Hot Potato Challenges and Booking Blitz’s • Get on our Sunday Night Team Calls • Plug in to our Region meeting and Discover Arbonnesevery month • We are invested in you and want you to succeed with YOUR goal!
