Prey Fish Keeping the population of prey fish is important by: • Not having to many prey fish. • Having enough food for other animals like reptiles, birds, mammals and also amphibians that the eat the smaller fish or smaller organisms • Example of small fish and organism: minnow, Mosquito larvae, panfish.

  5. Predator Fish • Keeping the population of predator fish is very important by: • Not having a over populated pond or lake • Having enough food for the fish • Having enough food for other animals and reptiles that eat the smaller fish to.
