EMPLOYABILITY • 92% of individuals employed in child care in Genesee County completed course work or received an Early Childhood Program Degree • 98% of Head Start personnel in Genesee/Lapeer County have received their CDA or completed course work at Mott • 78% of students who received their CDA returned to complete the Associate Degree.

  6. Associate Degree in Special Needs Includes: • 22 hours in Program Required courses • General Education Requirements • Electives • Total of 62 credit hours

  7. Associate Degree in Paraprofessional Includes: • 22 hours in Early Childhood; Special Needs or Math, Science or Literacy • General Education Requirements • Electives • Total of 62 hours

  8. Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) Includes: • 12 credits in Early Childhood Education • Center Base, Home Base or Family Day Care • Infant and Toddler Credential • Preschool Credential
