Project #3 for Curator 3: Curator’s name_____________ Crossword Puzzle Review Museum __________ • Mini-Unit Research • The first thing your museum’s curator team should do is set up your shared GoogleDocs document. Enter site from the FHS Moodle Page. • Create a new document. • Label with Museum’s name. • Share the document with all the curators in your group and the teacher using their ibaldwin emails. • Brainstorm about how to conduct a thorough internet research about your artist. (Hint: Divide and Conquer. Let each member research and save different artist information.) • Save all artist information, images, and URL’s on the shared document site for future use. • ***Good artist research sites: • http://www.theartgallery.com.au • http://www.abcgallery.com • http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki • Discovery Education on Moodle • Google search • Go to website www.crosswordpuzzlegames • Type in 20 facts and clues about your artist as directed. (Do not leave spaces between words.) • Click Create button. • Take a screen shot of the puzzle. Airdrop it to teacher for printing and student use. Resident Expert Mini-Unit FRAME ORGANIZER: Project Instructions and Work Check-list Make sure to use and turn in this organizer at the end of the mini-unit for participation credit. • Project #1 for Curator 1 • Curator’s Name_________________ • AnimotoFamous Artist “Teaser” Video • Open free account at http://animoto.com • Read how to make a short Animotovideo. • Create a 30 second Artist Teaser video. • Include the artist’s name, music and 5-7 images. Save the URL. • Embed in presentation at later time. • Group Project • Resident Expert GoogleDocs Slide Show • Your team will work cooperatively to create a 12-slide presentation . • The presentation must include: • Teaser AnimotoVideo embedded on first slide. • Artist info: name, place of birth, dates of birth and death, art period/style, at least 5 cool facts, & 1 quote. • Images of at least 8 works of art with titles and dates. • Evaluate 1 piece using the Elements of Art. • Image of famous artist Wordle & crossword puzzle. • 1 embedded YouTube video • Reference page (websites used in presentation) • Project #2 for Curator 2: • Curator’s Name_________________ Wordle Famous Artist Informational Poster • Go to http://www.wordle.net • Type or paste into the create box at least 20 words or phrases about your artist. (Click “enter” after each word or phrase.) • Press the “Go” button to see your Wordleand edit as desired. • Save Wordleto the public gallery. Copy and save the URL on a document for Group Project. • Take a screen shot of your Wordle and Airdrop to the teacher for printing.
