Alcohol and driving

More Control: the number of controls has doubled in 5 years

Positives in random alcohol controls:

Promotion of the figure of passive drinker and alternate designated drivers

Promotion of non-alcoholic beer: 14% of consumption is non-alcoholic

Seat belt and helmet

Special operations of vigilance and control

Seat belt use has increased 10 points since the Penalty point license system has been implemented: 95% use

2 per year, 15 days per year

Plan VIVE: new vehicle with acoustic alert for seat belt use in driver and companion

99% of users of PTW wore helmet.

INTEGRAL VISION

Citizens have the right to a Safe Mobility System, in which, citizens and social agents each have their duty.

STRATEGIC TARGET

  • In 2020 35% reduction of fatalities and serious injuries in traffic accidents

  • One thousand less fatalities in traffic accidents per year in 2020

10% reduction in the number of killed drivers above 65 years of age

1.000.000 more cyclists without increase in fatality rate

URBAN AREAS

30% reduction of fatalities

Zero fatalities in private cars

Decrease in 1% in positives for alcohol

SPEED

Decrease in 0.4% in vehicles that exceed 140 km / h
