  2. Meetings • Four bi-monthly meetings held for AHAN -January 31, 2006 -March 21, 2006 -May 31, 2006 -September 14, 2006 • National Housing Strategy Day -November 22, 2006

  3. National Housing Strategy Day • Forum called: “Help to Stay Housed, Strategies to Prevent Homelessness” • Student from Loyalist assisted Information Networking Task Force to complete this task.

  4. Forums • Practical Solutions Workshop • Home Ownership Forum • Walk a Mile in their Shoes • Municipal Elections Info Forum • There was excellent media coverage for all three of these forums

  5. Funding • Received funding from Services Canada under SCPI to hire to full time staff -Vanessa Rollins -Joan Gauthier

  6. Printing Materials and Marketing • New logo for AHAN developed • New pamphlet developed

  7. Printing Materials and Marketing • Wallet Cards distributed (over 1000 cards) • New AHAN website developed: http://www.hastingshousing.com/ahan/ • Public Awareness - Cable TV (Vanessa) • Structure Document Completed

  8. Task Forces • Task Forces met monthly, bi-monthly and/or quarterly • Creation of work plans • Merge between two task forces (Information Sharing and Networking Task Forces)

  9. Task Forces • Creation of Landlord Tenant Kits • Preparation of new AHAN member packages • Inclusion of community beyond Belleville, including Bancroft, and Quinte West
