Scanning- Internal & External Trends-Multiple Inputs Strategy Map (Balanced Scorecard Format) Objectives Measures Issues of High Importance Initiatives Some initiatives emerge from environmental scanning efforts that identify issues of high importance

  3. Final Priorities for 2007 Current estimates suggest that the first nine initiatives can be resourced in 2007 (i.e., staff hours and dollars). This is based upon an operational review conducted by the DVP of each division and Drs. Dove and Weaver, which was presented to the BOT in August 2006. The BOT understood that the resources available in 2007 are merely projections at this time, and these data will be finalized after the 2007 budget has been developed. Initiatives will be funded based on the order of priority as determined by BOT.

  4. Final Priorities for 2007 (in rank order) • Implement education strategy to achieve key goals by 2010: a. Facilitate education for individual learners b. Capture program content for digital delivery c. Develop needs based content • Develop tools to help members select an Electronic Health Record system • Identify strategies to help resolve acute shortages in CV workforce • Continue developing expert consensus documents and hosting the Bethesda Conference

  5. Final Priorities for 2007 (in rank order) 5. Increase IT support by hiring an audio/visual technician 6. Launch international strategy to increase membership, communication, participation, and knowledge exchange 7. Develop searchable database to track member interests and involvement 8. Increase staffing to support Governors, Chapter Executives, Chapter Members, and ACC Leadership

  6. Final Priorities for 2007 (in rank order) • Enhancements to Annual Scientific Session a. Focus on personalized learning b. Expand e-abstracts c. Add simulation centers d. Database of speaker evaluation and involvement to expand member participation • Increase responsiveness to the needs of CV Administrators and practices • Develop an ACC national initiative to improve door-to-balloon (D2B) times on a national scale

  7. Final Priorities for 2007 (in rank order) • Enhancements to i2 Summit a. Increase number of live cases b. Increase interaction of i2 with Annual meeting c. Strengthen FIT program d. Strengthen CCA program e. Add call for emerging technology • Increase IT support by hiring a quality assurance manager • Update ACC.org website by incorporating a content management system
