Standards Set By HUD: • Signed agreement from each agency and user. • Agency Participation Agreement • End-User Agreement (Individual) • Agencies within the Continua’s responsibility to bring CHAPs to help in the annual count of unduplicated # of clients served in the Continua. • Agencies participation is also important to help ensure accurate data on housing charts for proper representation of beds available in the area. • Domestic Violence • DV Agencies are prohibited from entering data into the local HMIS. • DV Shelters receiving money from the CoC are required to track data in an HMIS comparable database that will populate the APR. Participation Standards

Standards Set By State & CoC: • Certifications • Users need to have undergone the appropriate training in order to have access to the UHMIS system. • Each participating agency needs to have at least one user certified in each of the following: CERTIFICATIONS End-User Training Agency HMIS Administrator – Program Manager Agency Director Participation Standards

  4. Universal Data Collection Universal Data Standards need to be collected on any client that is entered into UHMIS.
