  2. A license file for the Avast software is downloaded during the installation of Avast software. To activate the antivirus software, you require this license file. Therefore, if you wish to use the license file then you have to go to the primary location where you saved it at the time of downloading the software. This file helps the users to update the software and also prevents from unwanted pop-ups. Here are the steps to find the location of the file: Turn on your laptop, type the administrator password to login to the computer.
