  3. Communist Smurfs • The Smurfs have no currency and everything is shared • Smurfs dress exactly the same, white pants and hat. • That demonstrated the idea of equality and that every member was as important as the others.

  4. Papa Smurf

  5. Marx believed in a society where everything is divided up among all the people within the society. • Nobody is above anyone else and everyone has a job to do. • Papa Smurf is the leader of a similar society.

  6. Others… • Gargamel represents the capitalists whose only deal in life is to have everything. (money and wealth).
