Student Objectives/Learning Outcomes • At the end of the project my students will be able to: • Students will improve their knowledge for plantation • They will grow more plants. • They will start this project from their homes, schools, cities and country. • They will celebrate week of plantation. • They will develop a new model city with plantation.

  5. Unit Summary • In Pakistan cultivated land is converted in to residential area. Plants are destroyed in order to build roads. Recently many new roads were built and lots of trees were cut down. Now in this situation there is a need that new plants should be planted and balance created. But in reality it is not happening. If this situation persists our survival will become impossible as plants are very important for our own survival. Students will assume the role of environmentalists. They will research causes for lack of plants. They will make a persuasive presentation to suggest the methods to grow the more plants. They will work in groups and use internet for research. They will create a wiki page to share land destruction taking place in their surrounding and form an NGO to save nature.
