  1. Cobb County School District State of the District for Federal Programs Webinar Overview for Stakeholders Feedback opportunity

  2. WEBINAR PURPOSE Three Goals This webinar will share current Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) approved district goals with our Stakeholders, share feedback regarding our Family & Community Engagement Policy and to secure additional input from our Stakeholders. Each year, Local Education Agencies (LEAs), are required to submit the GaDOE a Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP)to define how it will support their students when accepting federal funds under The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015.  The CLIP The Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP)is developed, along with stakeholder input, through careful identification of strengths and weaknesses using multiple data sources.  Once the strengths and weaknesses are isolated, the district identifies overarching needs based on trends and patterns of its federal programs to design District Improvement Goals with corelating Action Steps.

  3. COMPONENTS OF THE CLIP The Five Sections The CLIP is comprised of five parts.  In this webinar we will focus on two components.   The first being the goals from the District Improvement Plan.  The second will be the Parent & Family Engagement Policy (which we have named as the Family & Community Engagement Policy).
