  7. Initial Program Proposal(2) • Finance Office assesses budget availability for next project year • GIG Project Managers work with GIG Area Directors to develop GIG Operations and Project objectives and rough budget

Preliminary Program Proposal(2) • Prospective sub-awardees work with GIG Area Directors to develop Statements of Work • SOWs address the requirements in the Call for SOWs and include proposed staffing and costs • Prospective sub-awardees and RPs submit proposed Statements of Work to GIG • GIG Project Managers develop Preliminary Program Proposal for review by GIG management, Area Directors, and TeraGrid Forum at December TeraGrid Quarterly Meeting

  12. Integrated Project Plan • Integrate RP and GIG plans • Identify synergistic RP/GIG activities • Identify duplicate efforts • Build integrated Work Breakdown Structure and Budget • GIG Project Managers work with Area Directors and sub-awardees to finalize GIG plans and budget

Integrated Project Plan(2) • Project Managers develop initial version of TeraGrid Integrated Project Plan for review by Science Advisory Board • Integrated Project Plan receives final review by TeraGrid Forum before being reviewed by Science Advisory Board • Project Managers develop final version of Integrated Project Plan for submission to National Science Foundation
