  1. Tuition Time Line This time line aims to explain the rationale for the redistribution of tuition places. Taking away a school’s allocation for one to one tuition is not done lightly and is only done to maximise the use of tuition places across the county. Our aim is to ensure that every place we have been given as a county is used to create the greatest impact on those students entitled to this life changing opportunity. Autumn Term 2010 Reallocation Point 1: Schools that have demonstrated they have the capacity ,will be given additional places, taken from our contingency. Schools will be written to at the end of the Autumn term to explain the conditions of their additional allocation. We advise that you have registered 50% of your allocation by the end of the Autumn Termon the DFE site. Reallocation point 1 (15/12/10) Spring Term 2011 Claw Back Point 1 Places that are not registered on the DFE site by the end of the spring term may be considered for redistribution. We expect you to have registered 100% of your allocation on the DFE site by the end of the Spring term. We will be reviewing any unregistered places for potential redistribution. Exceptions Holiday Tuition: Where schools inform us that they are using their allocation for tuition in the summer holiday, those places will be protected from claw back. We will be contacting you requesting details of your holiday tuition plans Claw back point 1 (8/4/11) Summer Term 2011 Claw Back Point 2 Places that are not registered as having started on the DFE site within the first two weeks of the Summer Term may be reviewed for redistribution Claw back point 2 (6/5/11) We expect you to have registered start dates for 100% of your allocation within the first two weeks of the Summer term . Allocations which have been registered but not started will be reviewed for potential redistribution Reallocation Point 2: Schools that have demonstrated they have the capacity will be given additional places and written to at the beginning of the Summer term to explain the conditions of their additional allocation. Reallocation point 2 (9/5/11) Reallocation Point 3: Schools that have demonstrated they have the capacity will be given additional places and written to after half term of the Summer term to invite them to take up places for holiday tuition. Summer Half Term 2011 Reallocation point 3 (6/6/11) Summer Holiday 2011 We require you to register places used in the summer holidays in exactly the same way as all other places used. Please remember to go back on to the DFE site to register completed allocations and to register your impact data on the Essex One To One Tracker.
