  13. Install Zotero • Go to Zotero.org • Click Download Now • Under Zotero Standalone, click Zotero 4.0 [for Windows or Mac] • Click preferred browser extension to install

  14. Set Up Account • Go to Zotero.org • Click to register (upper right) • Create an account • Verify account

  15. Set Up Online Sync • Launch Zotero Standalone • Go to Actions > Preferences > Sync and enter your account information

  16. Set Up PDF Indexing • Go to Actions > Preferences > Search • Click Check for Installer

  17. Save Citations From PubMed

  18. Save Citations Multiple pages from PubMed • Select “Send to” • Select “File” • Under Format, select “XML” • Click “Create File” button • In Zotero, Import file

  19. Save Citations From websites with Zotero translators: • Google Scholar • New York Times • CDC.gov • YouTube • Others?

  20. Save Citations From websites without Zotero translators: • Factiva • Congressional Budget Office • UChicago News Site • Others?
