  7. LPG • Chemical naphtha, • Atmospheric gasoil Olefin production The main products of SC-1 and SC-2 are the low carbon chain olefins (2 and 3 carbon atoms) Input (raw materials): Chemical conversion These are mixture of different length and properties molecules

  8. Olefin production PYROLYSIS (Furnaces) Hydrocarbon mixture with high short-chain olefin content SEPARATION (with rectification columns and separator tanks) Treatment of some by-products in chemical reactors

  9. SC2 cracking furnace These chemical converter units are the Pyrolysis Furnaces Long carbon chain molecules cracking to smaller parts in the special alloy tubes in the radiation zone (800 – 850 °C)
