(Wear red) Day 2- Team Up Against Drugs- (Wear a shirt to represent your favorite sports team) Day 3- My Future is too Bright to Do Drugs-(Wear bright clothing) There will be student incentives for participation.

  9. Destination Imagination If you were given an invitation to join Destination Imagination, please respond by Friday, October 24. Please return the form indicating whether you are accepting or declining to Mrs. Watkins in room 310. If you accept, the $60 fee is due as well.

  10. Cross Country The girls placed 6th out of 23 teams this weekend at the state meet in Knoxville. Felicity Bostwas 11th and Brenna Riselingplaced 22nd overall. Congrats on a great season!

  11. HOUSTON MIDDLE FOOTBALL The 7th grade team beat Millington Thursday night 30-14. It was cancer awareness night, and they played hard for the cause! They were lead by Ethan Burns and Lincoln Pare!! Coach Bill

  12. Pictures Make up picture day is Thursday, October 23.  Please see Mrs. Rudisill if you have not taken a picture for the yearbook yet! Also, Pictures that were handed out to students last week are due into Mrs. Rudisill on Tuesday, October 21.   If you have taken any pictures at school or at a sporting event that involved students at HMS, please let Mrs. Rudisill know.  We are collecting pictures from sporting events, club events, and school wide events.  (Haunted Houston, Ice Bucket Challenge, Spirit Days, STEM club, INI, NJHS, Beta, SGA, etc.)

  13. Artfully A huge thank you to all Artfully members and parents for all of their help during Haunted Houston!! Artfully will not meet this week. Please email Ms. Nickell and Mrs. Gabb, members and parents, to allow all of our contact information to be correct. As soon as we get the updated email info, be looking for updates on our fall field trip.
