Pre-registration March 27, 2007 7:30am – 6:00pm KSRU event April 3rd, 2007 8:00am – 6:00pm April 5th, 2007 7:00am – 4:00pm WHAT TO BRING? Social Security Card Birth Certificate or Hospital Birth Record Immunization Record (For your convenience, please visit the Clark County Health Department or your pediatrician before KSRU pre-registration.) Please Note: Immunizations will not be offered on site This FREE service is sponsored by United Way of Clark County, Henderson State University Department of Nursing and support from local businesses. What is Offered at Kindergarten Spring Round-Up (KSRU)? • Complete head-to-toe physical • assessment including range of • motion and vital signs • Hearing and vision screening • Nutritional information • Reading readiness evaluation • provided by Arkadelphia Public • Schools for Arkadelphia • students • Finger printing and dental • impressions completed by local • law enforcement officers • Dental examination provided by • local dentists/dental personnel • Referrals for children who may • require further evaluation What is KSRU? Kindergarten Spring Round-Up is a FREE community service provided by Henderson State University Department of Nursing. KSRU was founded by Evelyn Latimer (Henderson State University Nursing Instructor) and Charlotte Hunter (Arkadelphia School Nurse) in 1983. The annual event is organized by a committee of senior leadership nursing students and implemented with the assistance of Junior and Senior level nursing students from Henderson. This service provides children with the opportunity to complete a health screening as required by state regulations before entering kindergarten.
