  1. Thames Valley Athletics Centre Information Sheet Thames Valley Athletics Centre www.sloughleisure.com/tvac is operated by the TVAC Trust, which is a joint non profit making organisation with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Slough Borough Council and Eton School. The athletics centre was built in 1999 at a cost of £6m and was one of the first lottery funded facilities in the country. Facility details can be accessed from the website. Enclosed is a plan of the ground and first floor of the current building and a location map of the complete site. The facility currently attracts over 80,000 users and is home of the Windsor, Slough, Eton and Hounslow Athletics Club www.wseh.info The centre had a turn over IRO £550k per annum and hosts school, junior and senior athletics events and a range of community sports ie badminton and indoor football. There are facility agreements with Eton School and WSEHAC which guarantee hours to the 2 parties for the duration of the 40yr lease. The centre is located on the Eton School sports fields in green belt land close to the towns of Datchet and Slough, near to the River Thames. The Trust are interested in a new partnership with a commercially minded organisation that can reduce the management costs of the centre by £100,000pa, by increasing usage of the site and/or adding facilities to increase income.
