  2. Welcome, Chaparral! 2013-2014

  3. Today @ 10:30 we have ASU Teachers College visiting the College & Career Center. We will also have the Marines here during lunch. Stop by the College & Career Center if you are interested.

  4. JSU club will be mtg. today during both lunch periods! 4th hour in Mr. Leinwohl Rm. F-120 5th hour in Mrs. Hecht Rm. E-212 Activity: Awesome Candy Sukkah Building Competition!

  5. The Junior Purple Society will be having a mtg. on Wed., Sept. 11 after school - Madame Moore’s Rm., A330. Please attend & help us get ready for our walk on the 15th!! Hope to see everyone there.

  6. The Chaparral Soccer Society will have its 1st mtg. in Mr. Speir's rm. after school tomorrow, Sept. 12.

  7. Interested in a foreign exchange?? Scottsdale Sister Cities is sponsoring (& helping fund) a student exchange during Fall Break to our Sister City, Alamos Mexico! Get appl. from Mrs. Harris (library) & find out about our International Club.

  8. International Club mts. every 1st & 3rd Tues. of mth. in the library, usually after school. Next mtg. is Tues. 17; listen for time & place. Elections coming. What'll you run for?

  9. YOU can help the life skills classes with a new recycling project. Life Skills students are partnering with Terracycle to recycle certain items. Right now we are collecting chip & snack bags in the cafeteria. Thanks for your help!

  10. SENIORS - MUST schedule a sitting with Cameo Studios before Tues., Oct. 1.

  11. By special requests…there are board games in the library during lunches! Just ask!

  12. Drink plenty of water! Stay hydrated during these hot days.
