  2. How NOT to Evangelize • Scream the gospel on the busiest corner in your focus community • Wear a 3-piece suit and carry a huge black Bible when you go out to witness. • Begin witnessing with… TURN or BURN!

  3. How NOT to Evangelize - cont’d • Talk about your church but not Christ. • Send out direct mail, work on your computer, plan the services, organize your teams, BUT don’t share the gospel with individual people.

  4. How NOT to Evangelize - cont’d • Criticize their religion or profession in Christ. You can’t argue someone to Christ. Preach the Truth in Love. • Let yourself get side tracked with things that don’t really matter.

  5. Evangelism is a PASSION not a PROGRAM!

  7. POTENTIAL How do you reach your potential in evangelizing your focus community? You must be… • BE STUDIOUS --Become the EXPERT. 2 Tim. 2:15 --FOCUS AUDIENCE. --Develop a PROFILE. (Survey) • BE SENSITIVE Project your love for people.

Good News Gospel • What else do you have to do? • Nothing • Repenting is turning from trusting in your righteousness to trusting in Christ’s righteousness alone! • We cannot make Christ Lord, He is Lord! • We cannot repent of all of our sins. • If we could lose our salvation it would not be grace.
