  • Secret of ordering the right steak to learn how you like it to be cooked. The basic choices you have are rare (outside is cooked, but the inside is still partially raw), medium (outside is cooked more thoroughly and the inside is cooked, but still slightly red), and well done (outside is charred and the inside is completely cooked through). One can also create a combination of any two of these basic choices to have your steak cooked between two levels, for example, medium rare.

  • Second step which helps you in ordering the steal is learning different types of cuts and some of the most popular are filet mignon (very lean and tender, but with less flavor, it is the most desired cut of steak in terms of tenderness), sirloin (a little more fat, more flavor which come primarily from the cuts of meat by the upper hip and butt area), rib eye (the most fat and flavor, It is a cut from the rib-eye roast), and the T-bone or Porterhouse (these consist of the tenderloin and strip loin around the T-Bone and distinctive with the T shaped bone; the difference between a Porterhouse and a T-Bone is the size of the tenderloin).

  • Depending on the restaurant, there will be slight variation to the degree of cooking when ordering a steak.   • Please remember when ordering your steak at the well temperature ,make sure that you do not choose a cheap steak such as the sirloin and still have something that is juicy and flavorful. Sirloin is cheap for a reason

  • One of the most important thing to remember is that under no circumstances should you spoil your meat with any kind of steak sauce, unless it is meant to accompany your dish
