Monday EC Meeting-Orlando • Tutorial on Monday on the revised IEEE patent policy-all Working Group leadership must attend • Almost 2.67M downloads for Get 802 program since its inception, average is 8012/week.Top 3 remain 802.11, 802.3 and 802.15.4. Need to review ongoing financial model. Looking at collecting email addresses for 802 updates • IEEE SA looking at ongoing standards conformity assessment. Joint SA/ISTO initiative. Robert F. Heile

  3. Monday EC Meeting-Orlando • Azgaard front end chosen by IEEE for the attendance software-online by December 2007 • On-Line training course completed and live. Very low sign-ups and only a few are actually finishing the program. Target audience does not seem to be using it. Reasons not understood. Meeting on Wednesday to review. • After a 9 month investigation, all allegations made in the anonymous letter, sent to the SAB a year ago, were found to be without merit Robert F. Heile

  4. Monday EC Meeting-Orlando • Concentration banking is being considered for the 802 Treasuries. Decision this week. Meeting on Wednesday at 11am • 1343 attendees at DFW. Meeting generated a surplus of $124k in anticipation of London. • London numbers not yet available • Open Office hours in Tutorial slot 4-8pm Tuesday Robert F. Heile

  5. Monday EC Meeting-Orlando • JTC1/SC6 meeting coming up in China in April. Geoff Thompson will represent the US delegation and Jesse Walker, Intel, will represent 802. Meeting Wednesday at 9am to get input. • ITU-R coordination meeting happening this week Tuesday and Wednesday (listed under 802.16) • ITU-R IMT Advanced Requirements input being sought in 802.18. Decision on Friday to say whether 802 wants to make a more detailed submission before November. Roger Marks would like to see a more detailed input sooner. Meeting from 8-10pm Tuesday Robert F.   6. Monday EC Meeting-Orlando • 802 P&P updated in January 2006. No P&P revisions ballots in process-waiting for AudCom issues to be addressed • AudCom did not approve 802 P&P. AudCom has a model P&P which is not published. This still has not been done. Hope that it is by July • Proposing that AudCom recognize 802 P&P as visibly under development and post on their site and grant an extension until November to complete. • Bob Grow is proposing that 802 P&P be modified to require Sponsor Ballot recirculations be increased to 15 days Robert F.
