  4. What types of “Finished” products can you product using MS Publisher? • Newsletters • Flyers • Catalogs • Cards • Letterheads • Certificates • Calendars • Brochures

  5. Do A “Google” Search for Publisher Resources • Open a web browser • Go to www.google.com • Type in “MS Publisher”, and conduct a search for tutorials and resources • View some of the web pages from the search

  6. Using Publisher • Open Microsoft Publisher • Open one of the brochure options from the catalog wizard • If the catalog didn’t open with Publisher, chose ‘options’ under ‘tools’ and check the box next to ‘use catalog at start up’. Close Publisher and re-open.

  7. MS Publisher Assignment • Develop two professional brochures on a topic or topics of your choice • One – using Mircosoft Word • Two – using Microsoft Publisher • Actual data/information/details, etc. • Logo/Picture on ‘cover’ • Bulleted/Numbered items on the ‘inside’ • Contact information on the ‘back’ • Before starting locate information and graphics. Save to the desktop as needed. • Email a copy of both brochures to Dr. Emmett and Dr. Oliver
