  1. Astrologer Symbols – The Origin and Meaning The images used in astrology to denote various celestial objects are known as astrological symbols. These ancient symbols of astrology may coincide with the symbols being used in astronomy, which is also referred to as the study of space, physical universe, and celestial bodies. Astrologer Symbols – The Origin and Meaning Astrologers interpret the influence and correlation of celestial bodies on people’s lives, and astrological glyphs or zodiac signs are used to form unique and different horoscope for every individual. The circular chart or horoscope is formed by the special placement of twelve celestial bodies or zodiacs, which are represented by astrological symbols, commonly known as glyphs. Origin of Astrological Symbols: The origin and use of astrological symbols or glyphs began in the second century as the western zodiac signs were described. The horoscope was being made by the division of twelve zodiac signs, being placed thirty-degrees apart. The stars are group under different constellations and the motion of different planets with respect to each other and these constellations are believed to influence human life. Astrological symbols for Planets: The planets such as the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are derived as glyphs. These symbols in astrology are formed by four elements, spirit denoted by circles, mind denoted by a crescent shape, physical matter denoted by the cross, and direction denoted by an arrow. Astrological symbols for Objects: It is very uncommon to some people that astrological symbols for celestial objects are also present. The Node, Lilith, and Chiron are the glyphs for astrological objects. A Node represents north node and south node, while Lilith is the representative of Black Moon, denial, and fascination. On the other hand, the symbol for inner teacher and wound healer is represented by Chiron. These have different meanings in astrology and influences largely on the birth chart. Astrological Glyphs for Zodiac Signs: The most commonly known symbols of astrology are the zodiacs. The signs are depicted through pictures and each of the signs represents their own meanings. The line drawings of the zodiacs are very simple, but carry a huge weight of meaning. The astrological signs for zodiacs are for Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.     This quick guide of astrologer symbols with their origin and meaning are helpful as a reference list for many believers of astrology. These symbols are the most common form of astrological glyphs, zodiac signs, and celestial objects used by modern day astrologers.
