Kids in the US have a hard time imagining life for another 2 years without a driver's license. Teens in Germany aren't in such dire straits due to the incredible public transportation system. Additionally, in order to get a driver's license, families must often pay upwards of $2000. It is safe to say if that were the cost in the US, lots of kids would have to wait until 18 as well!

This three-pointed star emblem has been Mercedes-Benz' registered trademark since 1937. Mercedes-Benz along with other German car companies such as Volkswagen, BMW (BayerischeMotorwerke), Porsche and Audi have helped to establish Germany as a leader in quality car manufacturing.

Find your favorite model of this manufacturer and describe it. Please also include a picture of it. Why is it your favorite? How much would it cost if you were to buy it? Choose one of the German car manufacturers from the list below and then using the web, briefly research your chosen car manufacturer.
