Glossary Process Owner = Manager or Director responsible for a particular area of business, e.g. Director Education at Colleges iNet Editor = Delegate for area of business with access to edit content on WSI intranet and/or internet sites, e.g. Executive Assistant to Director Education All Staff = You!

  4. Events Calendar Include: • Events that will affect an entire College or the Institute • Events that you’re encouraging visitors to, particularly from other Colleges • Critical events/meetings that should be considered when scheduling Do not include: • Events that affect only your team • Events of a personal nature • Events/meetings that are being held confidentially

  5. Staff Movements Include: • Management and other top level positions • Executive Assistants for Management • Any position staff may contact for assistance Do not include: • Relieving positions when the person has been in the position for months and will be in the position indefinitely

  6. Staff Phone List • Outlook and the Staff Phone List do not talk to each other • You can have more than one entry for your name if you have more than one role • If you have never completed the Add/Amend details eform your name may not appear • It’s quick and easy to update your details

  7. Guest • Examples of how correct staff information helps • Encourage staff to alert iNet Services if there are errors in procedures or documents or they contradict TAFE/DET policy • Encourage staff to suggest information that should be included in the staff intranet • Comments

  8. Good News Stories Include: • Feel good stories about staff and student accomplishments • Big events happening at your location • Information about new courses or programs we’re delivering Do not include: • Stories that depict students, staff, the Institute, our partners or our competition negatively

  9. Unlocking Ideas Include: • Ideas for improvement for any location across the Institute • Ideas you would like the appropriate Process Owner to consider • Creative solutions Do not include: • Complaints • People’s names • Minor requests that can be directed sent to the Process Owner Unlocking Ideas Register

  10. Procedures – Score & Comment Include: • What works, what has helped you • Suggestions for new ways of doing something • A specific example of what you’re writing about Do not include: • Urgent errors – contact the Process Owner immediately if an error needs to be corrected immediately • General comments that can be communicated through the Value Score
