  7. SPI activities - History • Initial activities • Establishment of QMWG • Set up an independent SQA group • Set up SEPG • Formally initiate assessment activities based on SW-CMM

  8. SPI Activities – Initial activities • Since 1999, under the guidance of PFU, started CMM-based activities • Adopted SPK diagnosis • After 2 sample check, initial level 2 maturity is initially identified

SPI Activities – QMWG • Set up QMWG in Sept. 1999 • Consists of company management and managers from each department • Main responsibilities • Review quality status • Review development plan • Product delivery review meeting • define quality goal • Charters of various plans • Report department activities

  10. SPI Activities – SQA Group • Established full-time SQA group in Sept. 2001 • Check development documents against regulations • Implemented 75 projects in 2 years • 100% since 2002
