  1. All About Wolverine By Jadan Clayton

  2. Where do wolverines live? • Wolverines live in snowy climates. • Across the Arctic region of Canada. They are also found up north in Alaska, Russia, and Greenland. • You are not going to see a wolverine anywhere near Missouri! • Live in dens made of snow tunnels, rocks, and boulders. • They can be found in very cold forests and tundra.

  3. What my animal looks like • Wolverines are related to weasels, not wolves. • Wolverines have yellow stripes on their back. • Wolverines have sharp claws. • Wolverines are about 66 to 86 centimeters and their average weight is 8-12 kilograms. • Wolverines live about 7 to 13 years in the wild. • Looks like a combination of a skunk and small bear with tiny eyes and short, round ears.

  4. What Does a Wolverine Need? • Food: It will eat berries and plants. They really want meat though. Wolverines will hunt all animals from mice and rabbits up to moose and caribou. • Wolverines are opportunistic eaters. This means they’ll eat whatever is close and easy.

  5. It’s teeth • it’s teeth are used for eating and caching food

  6. Wolverine’s Feet • It’s feet act as snow shoes to keep it from sinking into the snow. • This meets the basic need of protection because it can travel faster. It would be slow if it was down in the snow. • It meets the need of food because it allows the wolverine to travel faster, so it’s a faster hunter.
