Summary And then it hit. Even though we knew it was going to, we were still shocked when the asteroid actually made contact with the moon. Our moon. At that second I think we all realized that it was Our Moon and if it was attacked, then we were attacked. When that meteor hit the moon, 16 year old Miranda’s life was changed forever. Everything disappeared, grocery stores ran out of food, gas went up to more than $10 a gallon, and it seemed that there was no future. Or was there?
Susan Pfeffer Susan Pfeffer was born in New York City in 1948. She lived in in the suburbs and spent summers in the Catskill Mountains. After her dad wrote and published his own book, it because Susan’s dream to write books. Susan Pfeffer graduated from New York University and got her first book published (Just Morgan).
