Introductions • Sarah Knight / Helen Beetham (JISC) • Stuart Lee / Liz Masterman (Oxford University’s Learning Technologies Group) • Russell Francis (Educational Studies, Oxford) • evaluate the potential of learning design in ACL, FE, and HE using the LAMS software • offer a selected group of practitioners the opportunity to study and evaluate learning design through LAMS in their educational context

Timeline • Project August 2004 to March 2005 • Workshops: summer 2004 (plus December) • August - October: initial analysis of results and preparation of further feedback tools; plus online support and discussion • October- December: observations, interviews, meetings with SST and Becta • January: workshop • January - February: further interviews and observations • February - March: analysis of design questionnaire • March - April: final report

  5. ‘Design Questionnaire’ • Reflective diary? • Divided into sections to look at learning design, learning design with LAMS, using LAMS in teaching, with supplementary questions on technical issues

  6. To Do • More interviews - FE and ACL • Collate all responses from Design Questionnaires • Further discussions with TechDIS and BECTA/SST • Write report …
