  2. Ephesians 2:19-20 (NIV) 19Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, 20built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

  3. Ephesians 2:21-22 (NIV) 21In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

  6. Temple Trivia • The temple was 90’ long x 30’ wide x 45’ high. • It took over 7 years to complete. (30,000 Israelites were drafted to assist along with 153,600 foreigners who lived in Israel.) • The walls of both inner and outer sanctuaries were overlaid with pure gold and adorned with precious stones. Even the nails were made of gold. • In all, 23 tons of pure gold was used to construct the temple. (736,000 oz @ $304.69/oz = $224,251,840.00)

  13. Jesus, come and dwell here, May I be a place you long for, Jesus, come and rescue me from myself and call me your home. Make me a place where you abide, Make me a heart where you reside, Make me a life that doesn’t know anything apart from you.
