Steps to Conquering Procrastination

Extra Tips

  • Don’t put it off!!

  • Form study groups.

  • Ask for help.

  • Be positive—do not criticize yourself.

  • Make the tasks look small in your mind. (“I’ve written lots of excellent papers; this is just one more paper.”)

  • Seek positive role models.

  • Advertise what you hope to accomplish, and let peer pressure push you forward.

  • Procrastinating in online courses is especially dangerous! Be sure to log in every day to keep up with assignments and to check for updates the professor may have submitted.
