  2. “Digital Documentation 101” • Best practices for digital photo, video, and text for high school students • Part of orientation/pretraining for Passport • Skills will be useful inside and outside of school

  3. Instructional Goal • Students will demonstrate basic proficiency and identify best practice in four formats of digital media documentation. • Photo • Video • Blogging/text • Mixed media/ “free form”

  4. Learning Objectives • Sub Goal 1: Learners will be able to shoot, edit, optimize, and upload basic digital pictures with a digital camera or mobile device and create an online slideshow. • Sub Goal 2: Learners will take, edit, optimize, and upload digital movies with a digital camera, digital video camera, or mobile device. • Sub Goal 3: Learners will configure a blog, make entries, add links, and embed media such as pictures and video. • Sub Goal 4: Learners will be able to name and describe “free form” or other types of documentation such as song, poetry, podcast, and visual arts (drawing, sketching, collage) and edit, optimize, and upload these materials.
