  2. 9.12.12 Special Education Session - Spears Objectives… • Teachers will be able to utilize IEP goal setting calculators and resources, and plan progress monitoring systems for the 2012-2013 school year. • Teachers will be able to evaluate instructional treatment plans designed to meet the needs of their students. • Teachers will be able to identify action steps toward supporting general educators in meeting the needs of their students.

  4. 9.12.12 Special Education Session - Spears Goal Setting Vocabulary: Baseline Score & Goal Score ROI = Rate of Improvement (per week) an oral reading fluency ROI of 1.5 means that every week, the student is reading 1.5 more words per minute than the last week # Weeks to achieve goal one year’s worth of instruction = 36 weeks Formula: ROI = (goal score – baseline score) # weeks to achieve goal
