  43. 6. Internacional cooperation suggestions between Chile and Kemco. • 6.1. Energy labelling. • This action is being considered by the Ministery of Economics and the CNE (Nacional Comisión for Energy) and at this time it is necessary to define who will be the institution which will be responsible for: legislation, fiscalization-control and continuos monitoring of the benefit/cost relation. 09. nov 2005 SEOUL

  44. Therfore: • Kemco should contact Nicola Borregaard, as to offer assistance based on its own experiencies. 09. nov 2005 SEOUL

  45. 6.2. Household artefacts. • As before, the recently created Program Land Program Energy Efficiency in the Ministery of Economy has worked out necessary actions to be carried out. The household artefacts will be labelled by energy efficiency as for ambient impact (refrigerators) A program will be implemented in 2006. 09. nov 2005 SEOUL

  46. With the usefull experiences of Kemco, this one should be transferred to the coordinating authorities in Chile. • WE NEED A BRIDGE, USM? 09. nov 2005 SEOUL

  47. 6.3 Cars. • Up to now Chilean politicies were to leave things happen through market mechanisms to work, supposing people will take the economical (energetical?) correct decisions. As an example, often it is be said, that the growing small diesel vehicles park is an desirable condition. • Surely Kemco has something more to say about this, specially in the marketing effect to the consumers behalf. 09. nov 2005 SEOUL

  48. 6.4 Electric motors. • Technically we have in Chile a good know how and software, as to select the energetic more efficient systems, on a long term investment. But not everybody is using this or asking for it, so there are many opportunities to be implemented. • Kemco can offer mechanisms to sensibilize the differente productions sectors of the Chilean economy, as to obtain a more conscious and effective application of this knowledge. 09. nov 2005 SEOUL
