  2. The Infidel Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” – Infidels do not believe this! • Psalm 14:1 “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’” – God’s description of the infidel!

  3. Degenerates Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • Galatians 5:19-21 – Degenerates denounced in most scathing terms! • “the like” – people who engage in cannot inherit the kingdom of Heaven! • Revelation 21:8 – will have a part in the lake of fire and brimstone which is the second death!

  4. The Universalist Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • Hebrews 5:8,9 – salvation ONLY for those who OBEY HIM! • 2 Thessalonians 1:8 – flaming fire/ vengeance for those who do not OBEY the GOSPEL! • Clearly, Paul was not a universalist!

The Sectarian Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • “Good & bad in all churches.” • “One church as good as another.” • Ephesians 4:4 “One body…”; Colossians 1:18 “body” = “church”; Ephesians 1:22,23 “Head of His body, the church”; Ephesians 5:23 “Savior of the body”; Romans 12:4,5; 1 Corinthians 3:4

  6. The Faith-Only Theorist Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • “Faith only” just once in Bible, & there they are used to condemn the theory – James 2:24 • James 2:17 “does not have works, is dead” • Galatians 5:6 “faith working through love”

  7. Innovators Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • Deuteronomy 4:2 – “not add to the word which I commanded you, nor take from it.” • Acts 20:7 “first day of the week” • Revelation 22:18,19 “adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book”

Grace-Alone Theorists Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • Bible writers did not believe this theory. • Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.” • IF faith is involved, it is NOT grace-only!

  9. Human Creed Makers Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • Matthew 15:8,9 – Man made doctrines make worship vain. • 2 Timothy 3:16,17 – Man of God has everything he needs • Where is there any room for a human creed? 2 Peter 1:3

  10. Covetous Men Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • Malachi 3:8,9 “Will a man rob God?” • Christians taught to abound in giving – 2 Corinthians 9:6,7 • We are to give in proportion to our prosperity – 1 Corinthians 16:1,2

Lukewarm Christians Had Nothing To Do With Writing The Bible • Romans 12:11 “not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit” • 1 Corinthians 10:12 “take heed lest he fall” • Hebrews 2:3 “how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation” • James 4:17 “knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” • Makes the Lord sick – Revelation 3:15,16

  12. Who Did Write The Bible? • 2 Timothy 3:16,17 “inspiration of God” • 2 Peter 1:20,21 “moved by the Holy Spirit” • 30 OT Books • 27 NT Books • 40 Different Authors • Three different languages • Lived in different places • Spanned 1500 years! • Perfect harmony, beginning to end!

Who Did Write The Bible? • Paul believe what he wrote was the Word of God - 1 Thessalonians 2:13 NKJV 13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.”
