  3. Why Should Patients Use Telemedicine? • Time saving • Save the time in travelling • Easy to schedule around daily activities • Cost saving • Save on gas and parking • No need to take a whole day off work or school

  4. Why Should Patients Use Telemedicine? • Quality of Care • Feels like a face-to-face appointment • Same level of care and treatment • Ability for other caregivers to be present in the appointment (teachers, school nurses, grandparents, daycare providers, other physicians)

  5. Why Should Local Providers Refer Patients to Telemedicine? • Limited specialists available • To be more involved in patient care (can attend appointments with the patient) • For second opinions on conditions • For the safety of patients that have difficulty traveling

How to Reach Target Audiences? • Community based marketing can provide the opportunity to educate and inform the many people and organizations that will come in contact with your telemedicine program • Direct marketing to providers can assure that your telemedicine program is positively received by general practitioners and other specialists to receive adoption in target communities
