  2. Símbolo de la revolución pacífica Líder espiritual y político nació el 2 Octubre de 1869 en Porbandar, India A los 13 años, Ghandi se casó, en un matrimonio arreglado por sus padres, con Kasturba, una niña de su misma edad. y tuvieron cuatro hijos.

  3. Mahatma Ghandi estudió leyes en Londres y volvió a la India en 1891, para ejercer su profesión. En el año  de 1893 aceptó un contrato de un año para trabajar como abogado en Sudáfrica, en aquella época Sudáfrica estaba controlada por los británicos, cuando Ghandi trató reclamar sus derechos como ciudadano inglés no fue escuchado y siendo maltratado por la autoridades, pronto se dio cuenta de los atropellos que sufría el pueblo hindú.
